This Privacy Policy describes how TimeStamp Camera – GPS Date & Location (“the App”) collects, uses, and shares information on your device. The App is developed and published by Ajith Kumar Gokulan (“Developer”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require or create user accounts. It works on your device and stores media locally. The App may request the following permissions to provide its features:

• Camera — to capture photos and record videos with overlays.
• Microphone — to record audio together with videos (only when you record video with sound).
• Location (GPS) — to obtain latitude and longitude and to create address coordinates and map links used in overlays.
• Storage / Files & Media — to save, read and share photos and videos on your device.

2. How We Use Information

Information accessed via granted permissions is used only for features you control, such as:

• Adding overlay text to photos and videos (date, time, GPS coordinates, address, compass, app version, index).
• Saving photos and videos on the device in the standard Android media folders.
• Generating a Google Maps link when requested in overlays or share actions.
• Providing clipboard copy of overlay text when you press the copy button.

We do not use your media or personal data for analytics, advertising, or profiling.

3. Data Storage & Retention

All photos and videos created by the App are stored locally on your device. We do not transfer your images, videos, or location data to our servers. You may delete any media directly from your device at any time using the Gallery or File Manager.

4. Third-Party Services & Libraries

The App may use third-party libraries and platform services including, but not limited to:

• Google Play Services / Location Services (for improved location accuracy).
• FFmpeg/FFmpegKit library (for optional video processing features).

These services and libraries may collect device- or usage-related technical data as described in their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review third-party privacy information where applicable.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not share personal data with third parties. The App can generate files that you may choose to share manually (for example, by attaching a photo or video to an email or messaging app). Any sharing action is performed by you and under your control.

6. Children’s Privacy

This App is not directed to children under 13 years. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Security

We do not transmit or store your media on our servers. Protecting your personal device (PIN, password, fingerprint) is your responsibility. The App follows best-effort practices to access only the permissions it needs.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
